We offer this service to regular customers only to maintain their dog between grooms or to deal with the aftermath of their pet’s adventures and mishaps.  A spa treatment or nail trim may be added at additional cost.  This service does not detangle the coat or style the pet.

Cherish Dog Wash and Groom Service

This service is suitable for dogs with a short, smooth coat, or longer haired rough coated breeds and those with a combination of all three!

• Health Check – this includes a check of the skin for any medical conditions including the presence of parasites, eyes, ears, nails, paws, teeth, anal glands and the condition of the coat.
• Preparation for bathing and grooming – brush out to remove dead undercoat, knots and tangles, nail and ear trim.
• Bathing using a shampoo and conditioner, if appropriate for the skin.  If your dog requires a shampoo prescribed by your vet please ensure this is available to the groomer. Spa treatments may be added at additional cost.
• Hand dry – using techniques appropriate to the length of coat and type.
• Brush out and scissor trimming of the feet for dogs with a full coat.
• Smooth coated dogs are polished to add additional sheen to the coat
• Cologne Spritz – optional.

Cherish Full Groom

For dogs with style that need a scissor trim or clipping.  Handstripping for appropriate breeds requires a longer appointment and incurs an additional charge.

• Health Check – this includes a check of the skin for any medical conditions including the presence of parasites, eyes, ears, nails, paws, teeth, anal glands and the condition of the coat.
• Preparation for bathing and grooming – brush out to remove dead undercoat, knots and tangles, nail and ear trim.
• Bathing using a shampoo and conditioner, if appropriate for the skin.  If your dog requires a shampoo prescribed by your vet please ensure this is available to the groomer. Spa treatments may be added at additional cost.
• Hand dry – using techniques appropriate to the length of coat and type.
• Either Clipping or Scissoring all over the body to achieve the preferred style.
• Cologne Spritz – optional.
